We specialize in crafting personalized menus that reflect your unique wedding vision. Through a relaxed one-on-one consultation, we listen carefully to your tastes, preferences, and any special dietary needs. Together, we’ll create a menu that’s an extension of your love story—soulful and unforgettable.

Cooking Philosophy

Our food philosophy is rooted in sustainability, seasonality, and pure, exceptional taste. We proudly use organic, locally grown greens from Hacienda Okhra Farm in Mal País. Our beef is premium, grass-fed, and sourced from ethical Costa Rican farms. Our fish is line-caught off the coast of Mal País, ensuring every dish is infused with the freshest local flavours.

How far in advance should we book our wedding catering?

We recommend booking at least 3–6 months in advance, especially for high season period (December–April). This ensures availability and gives us plenty of time to plan the perfect menu together.

Is there a minimum number of guests required?

Yes, our wedding packages are designed for a minimum of 40 guests

If you're planning a more intimate celebration, our Signature Package is the best fit—it’s our only offering that doesn’t require a minimum guest count. With this option, we can tailor every detail to your unique vision, regardless of the group size. 

Is there a service charge, and do your prices include waitstaff?

The prices listed in our wedding packages do not include waitstaff, as staffing needs can vary depending on your guest count, venue, and chosen service style (buffet, plated, family-style, etc.). We’re happy to coordinate experienced service staff for your event at an additional cost, ensuring your guests are well cared for and your event runs seamlessly.

In addition, a 15% service charge will be added to your final invoice. This covers event planning, coordination, and all behind-the-scenes logistics—from sourcing ingredients and organizing prep to managing timing and setup on the day of your wedding. It allows our team to fully support you from start to finish and ensure every detail is executed with care.

Can we customize our menu?

Absolutely. All of our packages allow for some customization, and our Signature Package is fully bespoke—from starters to dessert. We also happily accommodate any dietary preferences and restrictions.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes, we can adjust your menu to accommodate all dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and allergy-friendly options.

Where do you source your ingredients?

We focus on fresh, sustainable, and locally sourced ingredients. Our organic greens come from Hacienda Okhra Farm right here in Mal País. We use grass-fed Costa Rican beef known for its rich flavour and ethical farming practices, and all our seafood is line-caught by local fishermen in the pristine waters off Mal País. Every menu is crafted to highlight the vibrant, tropical flavours of the region and bring you the best of what’s in season.

Do you provide drinks or bar service?

While we don’t offer in-house bar services, we’re happy to collaborate with a beverage vendor or help coordinate a bar setup that complements your menu. We also work with some of the best bartenders in Santa Teresa, and can arrange full bar service for your event at an additional fee.

If you're looking to elevate the experience, we can suggest perfect wine pairings to match your menu and create a selection of signature mocktails for guests who prefer non-alcoholic options. Whether it’s craft cocktails, a curated wine list, or tropical mocktails, we are here to help set the tone for your unforgettable celebration.

Do you offer tastings?

Yes! Tastings are available upon request for couples booking our Signature package or larger events. We believe this is one of the most exciting parts of the planning process—it’s your chance to experience the flavours, textures, and presentation of your custom menu before the big day.

During the tasting, we’ll walk you through each course, discuss plating options, and fine-tune any elements to make sure everything aligns with your vision. It’s also a great time to explore potential wine pairings or mocktail options if you're planning to add a bar element.

Tastings take place in Santa Teresa and can be scheduled a few weeks to a couple of months before your event, depending on availability. We recommend booking your tasting early to lock in your preferred date!

Can you help with wedding planning or vendor coordination?

Absolutely. While our focus is on creating an unforgettable dining experience, we know how important the full picture is when it comes to your wedding day. We work closely with Amor de Mar in Montezuma, a stunning venue perfect for couples seeking a romantic, beachfront setting. If you’re still looking for your dream location, we’re happy to connect you.

In addition, we can recommend a local network of trusted local vendors for rentals—everything from tables and chairs to glassware, decor, lighting, live bands and DJs. If you’d like more hands-on support, we also offer vendor coordination services for an additional fee. This includes managing logistics, timelines, and communication with rental companies to help ensure a smooth and stress-free experience leading up to your big day.
